Abstract:
The purpose of the present article is to follow the historical development of philosophic thought, which ideas are orientated towards defining of the notion “critical thinking”. Emphasis is put on different representatives, notions, schools, streams (from antiquity to present), which in their own individual way contribute to systematization of the methodology of critical thinking.
