Abstract:
The author of the article presents the results of a social-pedagogical research of sand activities’ functions in the educational process. A hypothesis that the sand activities provide non-exploited options for building health culture of pupils at the age of 5 to 7 is checked. The importance of the sand activities for implementing preventive and developing functions of the home upbringing as well as of the mandatory two year pre-school teaching is justified.
