Abstract:

Current study examines the contemporary trends in the interpretation of intellectual disability directing the analysis to the levels of adaptability of individuals and the necessary support. The main focus is directed to the development of language-speaking skills and their communicative function. In the study are described main features expressed in the most common specifics of form, content and use of speech.
