Abstract:

The article examines the main characteristics of a socially adapted personality capable of self-determination in society. The following is a brief analysis of the main problems of social adaptation of orphans, which are present in all age groups of children living in state orphanages. The ways of improving the processes of their socialization, introducing new pedagogical approaches and technologies are proposed; highlights the main forms and methods of pedagogical and social work with pupils, the formation of innovative programs for the successful socialization and adaptation of orphans to independent life. The need for an integrated approach to solving this problem of all social institutions, state and public structures and active interaction in the educational space of similar institutions in Russia and other countries is revealed.
