Ideas for Improving Primary School Mathematics Teaching in Terms of Solving a Quadrilateral

Abstract:

The paper discusses some ideas for systematizing basic problems of rectangles and squares in teaching primary school mathematics. To each basic problem, it proposes a sample problem accompanied by a methodological analysis and solution. The mathematical software GeoGebra has been used for all the drawings. The aim is to illustrate and recognize both the known and unknown elements, to find the relations between them, and to do the solution after understanding it. Particular attention is paid to the correct, well-grounded, and complete solution of each problem.
