Abstract:
The context for the development of inclusive education in Bulgaria is examined. A psychoanalytic reading was made to outline the contradictory picture of the implementation in school practice of the normatively declared right to inclusive education for every child as. The method of the work includes a presentation of the main key stages of the historical development of inclusive education internationally and the ideas embedded in it, which influence the policy of inclusion in Bulgaria. Against this background, selected moments of the inclusive education process in school practices are discussed and illustrated through examples. Three aspects in the discourse of inclusion that confront policy and practice are concluded.
