Abstract:

The Department of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Education of St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo has celebrated its 40th anniversary. This paper focuses on the importance of the anniversary as an occasion for taking stock of the preservation and expansion of the long-standing academic traditions of the Department, established in the past. In a meaningful aspect, it describes the solemn meeting, which is the period from the formation of the Department to the present day. This period is highlighted as a high standard in teaching, research and administrative activities, as a period of attachment and empathy towards the Faculty of Education and the University of Veliko Tarnovo.
