Abstract:
This article is devoted to the study of the professional and personal profile of the Waldorf school teacher. It takes into account the concept of freedom, which is the basis of Waldorf pedagogy; the necessary pedagogical competences determined by the specifics of the teaching methodology; the social and civic competences that each and every Waldorf teacher has to develop; and the specific role of the teachers as educational specialists and individuals in the horizontal management structure of the school.
