Историко-географски щрихи от българо-румънските енергийни отношения

Резюме:

Energetics is one of the bases for the development of the economy of the modern society. It is the “engine” of national and regional economy. Its rhythmical functioning has multi-diverse aspect – economic, social, demographic... The actual relations among neighbouring countries suppose that a common strategy for future energy development should be built. Some of the opportunities for a multiplying effect following a common approach are suggested in this article. Their realization would station Romania and Bulgaria at a respectively independent energy area, which, observing European requirements would be an East European corrective. The article positions the geo-energetic Balkan status quo, but suggests options for the optimisation of bilateral relations. They are connected with the overcoming of the mutual duplication of the degree of power supplying of the neighbouring territories, with the undeveloped infrastructure of the Danubian parts of the two countries, with the energy shortage of the adjacent regional units, with the discussed ecological problems, influencing the high-speed taking of management and economic decisions, with the direction of energy policy, which not always has a corresponding character. The Balkan countries have been destined by fate to support each other. Our article is a small contribution in this direction.
