Резюме:

In the second half of the 18th century, within just thirty years, three historical texts appeared – the three histories, which we intend to review – Paisieva, Zographska and Spiridonova. They are the first attempts to develop an original Bulgarian history and the beginning of Bulgarian historiography in the Bulgarian National Revival Period. A historiographical review is presented, covering the main achievements and trends. The role of the Second Bulgarian Empire in the three historical texts is clarified, including the most interesting events and moments. The purpose of the following study is to extract impartially the information we need, as well as to trace the level of historical knowledge during the reviewed period.
