Резюме:

In this paper, we study a poorly researched issue from the history of the relief movement in the districts of Yambol and in Elhovo – the actions to raise funds for the Romanian children living in want, the Greek refugees and the Spanish workers. In the course of the research, we emphasize the contribution of local village committees, workers’ and students’ collectives, and the initiatives of individual citizens to raise funds for foreign citizens in need. Documents from page 50 and page 61 of the State Archives – Yambol are entered into scientific circulation.
