Influence Job Stress on the Mental Health of Drivers Passenger Motor Transport

Abstract:

Research is devoted to identifying the determinants of psychological stability taxi drivers in a specific stressful factors of urban traffic and communication with passengers. Contains the list of the major stressors and production data of a sociological survey of two groups of drivers – buses and taxis. Identified predictors of personal characteristics, neuro-psychological stability, mental health and psychological well-being of drivers. The conclusion is that there must be a preliminary assessment of professional competence and psychological support for auto-transport workers, the introduction of psychohygienic measures that are directly affected by the reduction of accidents, saving drivers’ mental health and the psychological comfort of passengers. It is concluded that in addition to preliminary and periodic medical examinations of workers, need psychological stress evaluation, which will reduce accidents on the roads, to maintain the mental health of drivers and psychological comfort of passengers.
