Abstract:
The family life cycle passes through predictable and unpredictable life crises that require changes in both the family and private lives of both partners. One of the predictable crises id the transition to parenthood and childbirth. This leads to transformations in cognitive, emotional and behavioral state of the both of the partners, that require analysis of family functioning and the disclosure of the specificities of normative and non-normative family crises.
