Abstract:
The Covid 19 pandemic has caused changes in the functioning
of all people, including children with special needs and their families.
Research shows that the changes experienced by individuals and families
can result in mental health problems and dysfunctional adaptation to
the stress caused by the coronavirus pandemic. For these reasons, the psychological
support is important to help families cope with the challenges of
the Covid 19 pandemic, to improve their mental health, and strengthen their
individual and family resilience. Psychological support aims to help families
adapt to the challenges they face and achieve a higher degree of functionality
on a personal, partner, parent, family and social level.
