Abstract:

The article examines the underlying philosophical and existential questions, as well as the moral dilemmas related to the management of restrictive measures imposed during a pandemic. The issue of trust in the management of experts, which is relevant during the social crisis, are examined, and their deep meaningful connection with the philosophical teachings of Plato and Kant is noted. The paper also addresses the issue of human rights and freedoms and ways to interpret them in a situation of limitations and restrictions in order to curb the power of the COVID-19 virus infection.
