Abstract:
Small groups have enjoyed sustained research interest since the beginning of the twentieth century. They are a successful tool for problem-solving in social work. The management styles, dynamics, and most of the recurring phenomena have been described. The mechanism by which the small group captivates its members – the chain reaction – remains a mystery. The following material shares a perspective on the combination of factors that contribute to the chain reaction.
