Abstract:

The aim of this article is to offer a more detailed illumination of Berdyaev’s original ontological ideas which became the basis for subsequent theses of epistemology, methodology, anthropology, history, and other aspects of his concept. The study examines the theses of the Russian thinker about the original source and genesis of existence, of God, man, nature, matter, as well as the correlation Creator–man. An attempt is made to indicate the immanent essence of the world in the types of its existence. The scope of the analysis includes the main parameters by which subject–object relations are established, the internal structure of traditional metaphysics, of the proposed eschatological metaphysics, of their cognitive possibilities and the knowledge they carry, as well as the role of scientific terminology and intuition in knowledge.
