Abstract:
Assuming the role of a parent is one of the most significant and, at the same time, most stressful events in the life of every parent, involving transformation and adaptation to changed living conditions and requirements. Parental stress is determined by various factors, such as the personality traits of parents and their children, as well as contextual factors related to family functioning. Parental stress and subsequent parental burnout is one of the most common psychological problems in our time.
