Abstract:
The straight focus of the research below is placed on the relationship between philosophy and the history of philosophy, but its broader context is the meaning of philosophizing itself. The main problem discussed is the possibility of a productive dialogue between the current philosophical act and the philosophical tradition. The thesis, defended by the author, is that the condition for the existence of such a dialogical situation is finding a common problem field that gives context to philosophical concepts. Such a field can be sought in the contradiction of determinacy and indeterminacy and its dialectical overcoming.
