The article examines the experience of rural tourism development in Cyprus, considers the history of Cyprus tourism and rural tourism development, studies current state and trends of rural tourism development, considers the diversity of tourist products supply, analyses the role of non-governmental organizations, funds and government in agricultural tourism development. The social and economic effect of rural tourism development within this territory on the analysis of rural tourism development in Cyprus.
