Резюме:

The article discusses some of the main provisions of the publications of one of the economists of our time, Professor of Cambridge University Ha-Joong Chang, who has introduced a fresh stream in the development of economic theory and practice. Particular attention is paid to Ha-Joong Chang's treatment of issues related to work, employment, unemployment, which notes that labor forms a person’s personality at the deepest level, and the lack of the ability to realize human potential carries individual and social costs. The article emphasizes that the various types of unemployment in modern conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic situation have put the world in the face of the need to solve the complex problems associated with job loss for millions of people in different countries.
