Abstract:
This paper considers some innovative methods of teaching and learning, as well as the formation of knowledge, skills and competencies in students interested and progressing in the field of informatics and information technology (IT). The main emphasis in some scientific works is placed on the methods and approaches followed or used to teach future teachers in the professional fields of Teaching Methodology and Informatics and IT. However, there are rarely studies, theories or analyses regarding the ways and methods of learning and acquiring knowledge by such learners. The factors and features of learning in these cases can be identified and viewed as personal (characteristic features), determined by the environment (surrounding and inclusive) or influenced by certain aims for future development (relevance) and perspectives (career growth). All of them, in a general sense, are presented and included in the appropriate teaching and learning models – derived as a whole or in part as innovative methods.
Keywords:
innovative methods of learning; skills and competences; learning and training styles; learning methods based on different models.
