Abstract:
The paper presents a comparative analysis of popular content management systems as one of the most common ways to create digital content. Key concepts of definition, characteristics and challenges of digital content management (DCM) are discussed. The focus of the study is the usage of Magento for website creation, while the platform is mainly targeted at e-business projects. The advantages and disadvantages of the Magento software are described and compared to other recent Open Source CMS.
