Abstract:
The paper presents a Project-Based Learning approach in Mathematics, integrated with artificial intelligence applications, implemented at Vasil Drumev Natural Science and Mathematics Secondary School, Veliko Tarnovo, during the 2024/2025 school year. The method was applied across two groups: the first stage of secondary education (innovative subject: Applied Mathematics) and second stage (Higher-Level Mathematics: Module 1 Geometry). The dynamic geometry software GeoGebra was utilized in the development of the majority of the projects. This report describes the objectives, tasks, and stages of project assignment and implementation for both groups. Following an analysis of the results, a qualitative assessment of the method is provided. The conclusions indicate that this approach fosters a creative environment, granting students the freedom to explore, experiment, and generate innovative ideas. Consequently, this increases student engagement and overall satisfaction with the educational process.
