Резюме:

The paper focuses on the most characteristic features in the speech of sports analysts. For this purpose, the sports section in the radio program “Darik Kafe” was analyzed. Special attention is paid to the lexical specifics in the speech of football analysts. The results of the analysis confirm the hypothesis that sports news uses vocabulary typical of colloquial speech. The comments resemble a conversation between friends, and the increased use of phraseology, clichés and allusions contributes to this.
