Abstract:

The aim of the investigation is to discuss some problems, which occur in the oral communication and reflect the speech segmentation process. By the help of the immediate context, their linguistic and encyclopedic competence people usually segment correctly the texts of the other communicants. The communication ‘collapse” happens more often when the recipients are children or people with another L1.
