The article examines the commissions as state authorities. The delimitation between the national and the state commissions is made. Accent is placed on the specificity of their legal base and its imperfections. Conclusions are drawn and suggestions made de lege ferenda for the creation of unified criteria for delimitation of the two types of commissions.
