Abstract:
Civilization gave birth to a new type of worldview and philosophy, and then to rationalism and science. Ancient Greece saw the emergence of the paradigms of Parmenides (existence is fixed and integrated in essence) and Heraclitus (existence is motion in essence), On the basis of the former paradigm, rationalism and science were formed, while the latter was used in philosophy, humanities and art. In the first century, synergy and other theories were combined with dialectics, giving rise to rationalism and the “moving concepts.” The development of mathematics and logic also went underway. This article shows the unity of and the internal relationship between civilization, knowledge, rational thinking and science in the process of their evolution.
