Резюме:

Four sarcophagi were excavated near the Grate Basilica in Pliska in 1970. They were dated in the second half of the 9th century. Precious artifacts and textile were found only in sarcophagus No 4. The textile fragments were located on the upper half of the human-skeleton. In present time the textile is missing. The previous conclusions were reconsidered on the base of the published data and the photography material. Probably the textile fragments were from the silk – samite. Most likely they were from a garment similar to the ones of the Bulgarian warriors in the miniature from the Menologion of Basil II, ca. 1000, Bibliotheca Apostolica Vaticana (Vat. gr. 1613).
