The text is focused on three slovak novels: 𝑃𝑟𝑣á 𝑣𝑒𝑡𝑎 𝑠𝑝á𝑛𝑘𝑢 (1983) from Pavel Vilikovský, 𝐾𝑜𝑛𝑖𝑒𝑐 ℎ𝑟𝑦 (1984) from Dušan Mitana and 𝑇𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑗ú𝑐𝑖 𝑧𝑙𝑜č𝑖𝑛 (1995) from Ján Johanides. The aim of the text is to show the specifics of the construction of literary text, that has been thurn into a crime scene. The functions of the topoi like the stone-pit, woods or prison have been covered and used by the authors. Each one of the three authors has a different interpretation of the motive of guilt and the discovery of the culprit. The work combines the literary approach of three different writers and searches for their touching points.
