This article is an attempt to analyze how the synthesis of the “documentary” text of I. A. Goncharov (Frigate ‘Pallada’) and the “artistic” text of N. P. Zadornov (a cycle of novels about Eufimiya Putyatin) occurs and what ideological principles N. Zadornov uses when creating his literary Japanese Trilogy.
