Речевой портрет горожанина (на основе аудиоматериалов г. Нур-Султан, Казахстан)

Резюме:

The present article discusses lexical and phonetic features of spoken spontaneous speech of citizens living on the territory of Nur-Sultan city. The analysis focuses on the recordings of citizens of various social status and professional background. Among the lexical features Russian embeddings were found out which is natural in the conditions of bilinguism. Code switching is also prominent in the process of spontaneous speech. Concerning phonetic features, elements of progressive-regressive and progressive assimilation were observed. Just as important, such pronunciation of city people indicates their geographical belonging. The results of the work may prove to be useful in teaching the course of speech culture and practical phonetics. The audio materials may serve as the base for creating a sound corpus of the Kazakh language.
