Резюме:

In this article, project culture will first be defined and placed in the context of interand transcultural concepts of “culture”. Then, using the example of two transnational projects funded by the EU, in which the jubilee played an important and decisive role, it will be shown that cultural staging does not only (re)produce outdated stereotypes, but can also make a significant contribution to the success of a project. It bridges the individual project members’ diverse “cultures of origin” and a given project culture. The positive effects of cultural staging unfold when all project members are aware of its interactive character (improving team communication, creating a project narrative, supporting team building) and are willing to play the game. This subtle success factor may be called “project folklore”.
