Abstract:
The paper “Modal Restrictions of the Fictional Persons in Slobodan Dћuniж’s Narrative Fiction” is based on the examination of modal homogeneous and modal heterogeneous systems in the novel “The Winds of Stara Planina” (1998) by a contemporary Serbian author Slobodan Džunić. The principal theoretical framework for the analysis was Lubomir Doležel’s study “Heterocosmica: Fiction and Possible Worlds”, with a purpose of marking alethic, deontic, epistemic and axiological limitations of fictional individuals in the novel.
Keywords:
