Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to analyse the noun and adjective word-formation models of Modern Greek, in whose formation suffixoids are used that are etymologically related to Ancient Greek verbs. For every suffixoid the analysis of the word-formation model includes examples, description of the preferred left stems (stems, isolated from nouns, adjectives, adverbs, or derivation with prefixes, prefixoids, etc.), of the derivational suffixes, combined with the concrete suffix (if any) and of the inflection types of the newly-formed words.
