Abstract:
Object of the present comparative research are the functional-semantic analogues of the Bulgarian verb aspects in French language. The goal of the research is to identify the acts of inter-language isomorphism and allomorphism in the expression of aspectual meanings. A significant difference between both languages is the availability of the lexical-grammatical category aspect of the verb in the Bulgarian language, which does not exist in the French language, and the expression of aspectual meanings is not realized by gramemas. The aspectual semantics in the French language is expressed through modifiers that construct the periphery of the functional-semantic category of aspectuality. On the other hand, in the Bulgarian language the aspectual meanings are expressed both by nuclear modifiers (пиша: препиша: преписвам) and by the interaction of the gramemas with some peripheral means. There are many similarities in the peripheral aspectual expression of the compared languages. The most interesting are the morphological means in non-self function, which are inter-language equivalent.
