Abstract:

Kornel Filipowicz (1913 – 1990) – one of the most popular Polish poets, novelists and screenwriters. Wisława Szymborska (1923 – 2012) – a Polish poet, essayist, translator and recipient of the 1996 Nobel Prize in Literature. Their works are translated into many foreign languages. The established creative relationship between these important poets is well filled with more than twenty years of friendship, which forms a unique duet. They leave a deep and abiding mark in the literary canon.
