Abstract:

Enhancing intercultural competences and cross-cultural training have become a key component of one’s self-improvement and personal development in Bulgaria at present, when our society is undergoing unprecedented migration of people who undeniably overcome a transitional period of culture shock. Our future will depend on our adaptability and capability to exist in a multicultural environment. To be successful in today’s world and capable of preventing conflict situations due to intercultural miscommunication, to facilitate understanding and improvement of cross-cultural relations, it is of utmost significance to cultivate and advance intercultural competences.
