Abstract:

) By experimentally permitting a disciplinary dislocation, in the present text we follow the influence of japhetidologist Nicholai Marr over the field of literary stylistics which was extrinsic to him. From the late 1920s onwards, it was Mikhail Bakhtin who conveyed Marr‘s approach from the sphere of linguistic laws to the sphe re of aesthetic laws. Polyphonic Novel and Carnival Ambivalence, being Bakhtin‘s conceptual constructs, inherited the older theoretical concepts of Marr’s semantic paleontology.
