Abstract:

In the paper I focused on observing the melody in the speeches of the Slovak TV moderators. By analyzing the specific melodic schemas of the speeches of each of the editors studied, which was carried out in the Praat program, I want to point out the specificity of using the melody, the symptom of its use and the mistakes made by the moderators.
