Abstract:

The paper deals with current issues of various forms of bullying in the online environment, which are also highlighted by various projects in Slovakia (zodpovedne.sk, kybesikanovanie. sk, nehejtuj.sk, ovce.sk etc.). Prevention of unwanted behavior is mainly lectures, discussions, presentation of case studies and films on the subject, which develops critical thinking in the audience. One of the target groups is also younger school-age children, who often fail to use the acquired digital competences to their advantage and become victims, witness or cyberbullyers. The second part of the paper is devoted to the results of research with children aged 7 − 10, who participated in creative workshops devoted to cyberbullying in the Prešov Children‘s University 2019. The aim of the workshops (mainly focus group and role-playing) is to find out the level of awareness about the topic, stimulate discussion and take a critical stance.
