Abstract:

The text presents a different method for studying literature from the curriculum through the means of theater. The research introduces us to the creative history of writing Vazov’s “Epic of the Forgotten”, the meeting of the modern generation of high school students with the epic texts, goals and methodology for working on the stage version of the poetic cycle, expected and confirmed results of the work on the theater project, as well as feedback from the participating actors.
