Abstract:
The present article intends to find answers to the following questions: What are some of the characteristics and challenges in applying the communicative approach in English language teaching? How can it be transferred to the online environment when targeting productive language skills development? How can we plan a complete lesson or module according to teaching, based on pedagogical tasks (TBLT)? It will also present a sample online communicative lesson, comment on group work, use of shared documents, ways of giving feedback and assessment.
