Abstract:

The text highlights the need for implementing effective technologies and methods to develop the critical, conceptual, and creative thinking of high school students in Bulgarian schools. It supports the thesis that purposeful literature activities, which build thinking models, provide rich opportunities for multifaceted personal growth, thus giving greater meaning to the education of young people. The focus is on both the theoretical aspect of the topic and specific practical ideas. Arguments are presented in favor of the view that optimal results can be achieved by applying a comprehensive program for the development of critical, conceptual, and creative thinking from grades 8 to 12.
