Abstract:
The object of the study is the term che, which has a high frequency of use in the Italian language and, depending on the context, can perform several grammatical functions: relative pronoun, interrogative adjective, subordinating conjunction, etc. This polyfunctionality of the term leads to polysemy in both semantic and syntactic aspects. The main aim of the present article is to present all the morphological meanings and semantic functions of the term in the modern Italian language.
