Резюме:
The successful moral development of children begins at an early age and is related to the acquisition of certain personal qualities and socio-emotional skills. The purpose of this article is to present the role of the family as one of the main factors for the moral education of children. The family is viewed as a micromodel of a prosocial and empathic environment and as a kind of counterpoint to the macroenvironment where the moral foundations of moral society are seriously undermined. The paper outlines some of the permanent positive “moral emotions” that shape children’s moral development, such as empathy, concern, honesty, integrity, etc., as well as some negative “moral emotions” like shame and guilt, and the ways to educate them in a family environment. Based on a theoretical analysis and on a study of modern texts in the fields of family pedagogy, psychology, psychoanalysis, philosophy, ethics, etc., the article highlights the exceptional role of the family environment for the development of social skills and moral emotions as determinants of the moral education of adolescents. From an applied perspective, practical guidelines are given to parents for building a moral culture that determines the behaviour of their children.
