The report is dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the founding of the faculty of education at the university of Veliko Tarnovo. it traces the path from its beginning in 1984 to the present day, with a focus on the first deans, faculty members, departments, and educational programs. Based on today’s achievements, the trends for the future development of the faculty are outlined
