Резюме:

The Roma constitute the second largest national minority in the Slovak Republic. This community faces a range of challenges that negatively affect their quality of life and hinder social integration within the majority population. These challenges include poverty, low levels of education, and persistent societal prejudices. Roma community centers often serve as the first and most accessible point of contact between the Roma minority and society. They offer a space for delivering social services, organizing educational programs, and promoting health awareness. Social workers who engage with this community are particularly vulnerable to burnout. To sustain their motivation and effectiveness in this demanding field, regular professional supervision is systematically provided.
