With the article the author tries to show some of the basic characteristics of the public procurement contract, regulated by the new PUBLIC procurement act. The article shows the definition of the public procurement contract and points its elements. The author tries to determine the category of the public procurement contract. The basic stages of the conclusion of the contract are listed – moments of conclusion, content, contracting parties and term of the contract.
