In Bulgarian Universities there is not tradition in using of essay writing as a check procedure in different topics (geography, history, biology and etc.) or as a part of student self-learning. That why there is not unify and standart system about criteria and evaluation of student essay. In this paper we offer observations on a programme of e-learning WriteToLearn, which is one of the best efforts for integration of the new technologies in essay writing in university education.
